Paul
I am envious - you "just" sow the seeds (by which you presumably mean that
you put them in a pot with a little soil on top of them and water them )
and they germinate! I am wondering what percentage of your seeds
germinate. Any idea? Also, when do you sow the seeds - fall, winter spring?
I am grabbing for straws here - it is easy for you and not for me and I
don't knopw why. I don't think that all my seed was old. Chiltern is
notorious for old seeds but SilverHill seeds did not do any better.
???
Knock the callus off - that sounds rough, but having finally understood
that callus formation and root formation are two independent events, I
might just do that. I am a seed propagator and not set up for difficult
cuttings but Ic an probably find a bench to throw them under.
Thanks
Anni
