My reference book says Sempember is the best time. Use lateral ripened shoots ~4 ins long with a heel. Leave outside overwinter in a cold frame and pot on the following spring in John Innes no 1.

Have problems with Colutea x media.
Either seed rotten  when planted or sprout in seedcoat and rotten when planted.
What time is best for cuttings.
