Makes sense to me. Your description of the three-stage germination fits the
experience I have with Helleborus, Cimicifuga and others. Eremurus is
supposed to germinate without any frost. They prefer a warm and moist
period, 4-7 days or so, in 25 to 30 C, then a dark period in 0-2 C, for
about 2-3 months. Then a gradual warm-up and light. This is what I think...
I just wondered if anyone have had success with using the freezer without
giving the seeds a warm period first?
