finally after 3 different attempts at trying to germinate cacao & each
time paying a lot for a couple seeds, I discovered today that I have 3
plants popping up, & I feel like an expecting father. the obvious
difference is that I put a plastic bag over the container & that simple
thing made all the difference. as I have really bad germination on a
lot of the seeds I try to get going Im wondering if this is a good
practice in general with all seeds. I guess I just assumed that keeping
the containers damp was enuf to keep the humidity up there, but maybe
not.
a while back someone mentioned using aquariums with containers raised
off the bottom & the top covered. would one also keep water on the
bottom of the aquarium, tho not soaking the containers?
