Other comments: This mailing list was not created as a seed source
mailing list. I dont mind it once in a while, but these types of questions
can
be addressed on newsgroups like rec.gardens. "I will make you a deal". If
you
ask a question about finding a seed source for a specific species, how about
adding the propagation process for that plant. This recommendation will
benefit
the members in understanding how to propagate this species and will also
provide
a record for the archive page.

Doug-
I will to respect your wishes on this issue, but I wonder if many of the
group members would like this capability, and if so, could a listing be kept
as a "bulletin-board" type of link from our homepage? Just a though of a
possible way to make this resource available without clogging up the list
with this type of traffic, which is what I am guessing you want to avoid? I
realize that this suggestion may involve some technical computer stuff that
is time-consuming, so if it is too much trouble please disregard this
suggestion. I appreciate your referral to rec.gardens as a resource, but I am
guessing from my time there that the resources there may not meet the needs
of the many professional and intense hobbyists that are on this list, and
those that are interested probably already belong to rec.gardens. Just a
thought.........
respectfully yours,
