Dear Jim:
Heliotrope is a satisfying seed to start beneath grow lights. Your
seeds should germinate faster than 21 days.
Repot into a slightly larger pot each time you see roots peeking
from the bottom of the pot. Heliotrope will bloom beneath lights.
Smell your flowers, be tough and rogue the plants without
fragrance. Heliotrope's contribution to your containers is certainly
not its leaf shape or form but only fragrance.
What I'd like to find are seeds of a heliotrope that will grow tall
enough to make a heliotrope standard. Anyone seen any?
Best, Vicki
