Since I appear to have started this problem. I will try to fix it. I was out
of line per the guidelines of the list to ask for seed sources for grasses. I
am sorry.

Here is the information I have for germination of grasses.
Well, this is a varied group of plants with 3,000 to 100,000 seeds per once.
Seeds should be started out side after last frost, surface sow most will
germinate in 14-60 days but some may wait till next year. Many need light to
germinate well. 
Many of the grasses are slow growers the first year or two, others are fast
growers. 
Grasses tend to be warm weather plants producing most of their growth once the
soil warms up over F 78.  Plants can be divided in mid spring or mid summer.
If you have large clumps it can be a major project.

I would like to say that I have tried stay with in the focus of each mailing
list-but I miss the mark sometimes-especially when it's late at night.

Also I do not ever think that cursing is need on a public forum or for that
matter any for were.
 Duncan is the "owner" of the list and it is work to maintain a list, HE has
the right to set the range of the list. 
Duncan I am sorry for posting out side of the scope of this list. I appreciate
the opportunity that you provide by way of this mailing list.
