Dionea can be propigated by several means:

seed-fresh sown on a 50/50 peat sand mix and cover with glass or plastic
wrap and keep moist
division- just before the plants break dormacy in the late winter-spring

leaf cuttings-  gently tugging off a mature leaf making sure to leave
some of the leaf base on. cover the base with a very small amount of
soil and keep moist and humid.
