Blackberry lily is very easy to start from seed, and should flower the
first year. I've started it in "average" potting mix at about 70 deg. F
under lights. It germinated easily, sorry I don't remember how quickly.
Then plant it out after your last frost and in the late summer you should
have flowers that then will make really interesting seed pods.
