Hi again Jaime
On looking through yet another book I found that Nothoscordum is also
an onion-like species. It used to be called Allium fragrans but you
know biologists.... It is a S-American species but has spread in
Europe and California. It was placed in a different genus because it
does not smell like onion and the petals are fused at the base. Color
is whitish with some red. Grows to about one foot, flowers in May.
