Re: Help on germination of various Iris Species & intergeneric crosses

I would appreciate it if anyone could give me information on the germination
requirements of the following Iris species and hybrids:
Iris:
* chrysographes
* 40 chromosome Siberians or Sino-siberians
* 28 chromosome Siberians (Garden Siberians)
* ensata
* laevigata
* versicolor
*ensata x versicolor hybrids
* Louisiana Iris
* setosa
* pseudacorus x ensata hybrid
* Tetra-Calsibes


also the Irid
*Ferraria crispa

I was wondering if I should put them out for cold stratification or start them
indoors?
If I start them indoors, how many days before the last expected frost date
(May 15) should I start them?
