Scientific supply houses sell sifters of various sizes. It's not hard to
make them, though. All you need is to get different sizes of hardware cloth
and window screen and nail it to a frame. You can "make" a smaller screen
from two pieces of hardware cloth by putting them together with one screen
rotated 45 degrees to the other. Try a little experimenting if you only have
small quantities - the commercial screens are nice, but not cheap. Even a
few big strainers from a housewares/kitchenware supply will work well. You
can go even cheaper by looking in a thrift store in the old kitchen
utensils.
