RE: Propagating Lysimachia 'Firecracker'

Barb, If you wait until your Lysimachia appears next spring, you will
probably see that it has made several dark red rosettes offset from the
mother plant. Just cut the connection between the 2, dig the offset and
send it. Seeds would be easiest for the Campanula.

Subject:	Propagating Lysimachia 'Firecracker'

Good Day, EveryBody!!
Beautiful day here!
Sun is shinning and I will probably be complaining that its too hot in a few
hours. But its NOT raining!! Second day in a row, I think.

On the Perennials List we have been discussing this plant that I have.
Someone has asked me for a start of it and I am wondering what's the best
way
to send it to them (they live a long way out of town).

I thot about digging up a piece but don't know if it will disturb it too
much. I've heard of people send cuttings and "rootings" but I don't usually
have good luck with cuttings.

I also bought a Campanula Glomerata 'Acaulis' and am wondering if I can take
a cutting from it now? It has grown to about a foot tall and is blooming.
However the top blooms are beginning to dry up so wonder if I cut this top
part off and put it in water?

Or would seeds be a better bet on these 2 plants?

TIA and Best Wishes to you all --
