Take cuttings this month or next. 4 to 6 inches long. strip all but one or two leaves. Dip in rooting powder and stick in a pot filled with rooting medium. I like to use coarse sand (concrete sand) and vermiculite (1/1) so that it drains well. Place the pot in a semi shaded area that is protected from the wind. Set up some means of watering that will keep the medium damp. I have a timer that comes on for a couple of minutes 8 times a day and that works well for me.
20 or more cuttings can be placed in a 5 inch pot. It's is crowded, but works well. Check it a couple of months for root development. Transplant to individual pots or to a nursery bed in the spring.
"Creative Propagation - A Grower's Guide" (Peter Thompson) is a good reference.
Good Luck.
