Does anyone know any tips on Babaco propagation. I am trying to start a
new tree from a sucker that was growing from the base. I have put it in
some dry medium and used some rooting hormone (rootone I think) and have
placed the subject in a home made propagation box made with PVC and
polyurethane drapes. I have put in devices to increase humidity, and
put a solar venting fan that will turn on the fan when the sun is
shining on the prop box.
Does anyone know how long the plant needs to sit in there, or what I
need to be looking for to know that it is rooting? I know I can't take
the plant out of the medium or it will have problems.
Thank you in advance.
