I had a system crash and lost the URL for the database of germination info.
BTW I have a to do list in July my arm's length.
Repotted the seedlings from NARGS and the Chinese collection by chapter
members Darrel Probst and Roy Herald to take to the seedling sale at the New
England Chapter meeting August 2nd.
Root cuttings/offshoots of Ramonda, Haberlea, Lewisia, Androsace, Sedums,
Phlox for friends.
Take cuttings of Rhododendrons to the Plants for Member meeting of the
Massachusetts Chapter of the ARS because they can propagate them so much
better than me. Evergreen azaleas, lepidotes, and the early elepidotes.
Collect seed of the nice Aquilegia sp.(Columbines) that garden visitors admired.
Collect for the NARGS seed list. (The only one that really matters).
Collect and pot up the ephemeral seeds. Some times I just plant them next to
the mother plant and water in.
Need to spend time updating my web page of rhodies but all I can do is take
digital pictures and label them. Summer Lyric,a deciduous azalea.
is the last Rhododendron to bloom in my garden opened 7/16.
Duncan, you seem to do a good job keeping the list focused on propagation.
