Lilium 'Casablanca'

I'm nuts about Oriental lilies, and would like to grow a large bed of my
favorite, the pure white, huge and fragrant Lilium 'Casablanca'.
Unfortunately this is still quite an expensive bulb, so what I'm thinking
is to buy some large bulbs and try to propagate from them...
I would like to produce some fifty bulbs. Could you tell me how long does
it take for a lily scale from the rooting stage to the first GOOD
flowering?. How many large bulbs do you think will I need to produce some
fifty 'props'???. Any lily expert could help?. Thanks!!!. :-)
