you may want to try annuals like periwinkle, mexican heather, they can
handle the heat and humidity in our area. i have half barrels on the sw
side of the garage, and i plant periwinkle every year and they do better
than anything else i've ever planted. also zinnia augustafolia does well
also. chris from villa ridge, mo. zone 5 :-)
