Hi everyone!  I need to make some cuttings of a tropical/subtropical plant
and the advice I've gotten is to give it "bottom heat."  I have a heat mat,
but can any of you describe for me how I might set it all up?  How do YOU
give cuttings "bottom heat?"

By the way, I came across a copy of the book "creative propagation"
recently and remembered that we'd discussed it on the list a while back.
For the life of me, I can't make heads nor tails from it.  Lots of words
but very little direction.  How have others done in interpreting it?
