Re: Mint

Mountain mint is not genus Mentha, but Pyncnanthemum. It smells like mint,
but there are differences, and it is a dryland plant. It is upright, about
2-4 feet tall, has small leaves about like pennyroyal, and is covered with
silvery-gray pubescence. Grows in clumps and doesn't spread by stolons like
true mint. It might be that it needs to be stratified to grow.
