Mantis tiller & terracing

Good Day, fellow outdoorsmen and women!
I have a secret -- I really do all this planting and tending my gardens b/c I love being outside. Its how I justify spending all my time out there and not doing housework! Hehehe...

I do have to thank you all for your advice and tips, etc.
Especially all of you who have so highly recommended the Mantis Tiller!! Bought one a couple years ago and my SO has loved it and I was content to let him have all the fun with it ... until this year!!!
I discovered I can not only operate it, I can also start it!!! I am so thrilled!!!

I am very proud of myself!! I got 2 sections of the garden terraced back in April. That's when I figured out I can operate the Mantis myself. I've thot about this for years and discussed various treated lumber. Last year someone suggested using cement blocks. Now that really struck home with me b/c they are something I can handle myself which was the main reason this project never got done B4 -- I didn't think I could handle timbers myself and I am still trying to get my SO to replace the RR ties around the swimming pool.

The 2 terraced sections turned out very well and everything is growing extremely well. I put solid blocks on top so we can lean over them to plant and cultivate. I hadn't intended to do more than these 2 tiers but it turns out I have started something and now he wants at least 1 more tier, probably 2 and I wouldn't be surprised if we don't do 3 which will bring us down to the creek level.

Thanks everyone for your help and encouragement!
