Ian, G'day to you
A book called Moon Signs by George Llwellyn (sp?) has been highly
recommended to me. I have not been able to locate it though. Someone
at our library has "permanently" check it out, so I couldn't get it
there. Perhaps you can. Another book, I am currently reading is
Astrological Gardening, the ancient wisdom of succesful planting and
harvesting by the stars by Louise Riotte. It seem promising.
Ed Hume Seeds has a program called Moonbook Program you can download on
the net. http://members.aol.com/humeseeds/mbprog.htm I found this by
searching under: geocentric gardening.
Geocentric is an important qualifier because the moon phase dates can be
as much as a month off and cause planting in a non-fertile phase of the
moon.
Let me know if you are successful in locating the references and
utilizing the information.
