I grew some Pulsatilla from commercial seeds awhile back (just getting
into flowering stage when I moved house and lost the plants... :-()
The seed was from a commercial source, therefore dried, and I just
stuffed it into pots and put into a propagator. I didn't even know it
was supposed to be a difficult thing to germinate. But enough germinated
for my needs.
I did snap the "tails" off, though, so perhaps this is the key?
