These things happen, Frances. With the complexity of programs, and
their picky natures and literal little minds, its easy to understand.
I specifically react to any kind of solicitation from any source with
this kind of emphatic diatribe simply to let the senders know its really
not in their best interests to presume and impose upon people through
this medium.
I do the same thing with political and sales phone solicitors.
E mail or a phone is like a key to your home. People may not just walk
in any time without permission and demand my attention.
A lost cause, I'm sure, but I hold out hope that some vague sense of
manners and civility might glimmer to life in their self-entitled
brains.
