I got some seed (maybe 10 or 20) from a list friend and potted them up like
an alpine. Only one has germinated thus far but I've just hit them again
with a solution of kelp. I plan to leave the pot alone for at least another
year to see if any others will come along. The lone seedling was kind of
yellowing so I put a shade garden mulch that I use around it (gingerly) and
it looks better already. Sorry if I gave the impression that I had some
great secret. I was just excited to get at least one going after hearing of
everyone's difficulties with this beast.
