Forget trying to take leaf cuttings of primula.
Take leaf cuttings of your begonias, as they will do this readily.
What kind of primula is it that you are trying to propogate? If it is
denticulata, you can cut the roots into little 2" peices, lay them
horizontally under some damp soil and it will sprout for you.
Most of the others are best done using the division method. Trust me.
I a hundred or so doubles tucked away, waiting for offsets to divide
off. There simply is no better way, save for TC.
Just bear in mind that good things are worth waiting for. (dammit)
