I did many Jamaican (?)strawberry trees--a rapid-growing tree
that grows about 15'/year and tops out at about 20 ' with a soft willowey
top. I made a total canopy of my backyard. Later found out that they
put out their own trees sprouting up from the shallow roots. Did another
tropical tree that I can't remmeber the name of.
Good success rate, once I taught myself how to do it, and as you said,
controlling the moisture is key. Just wanting to know if mold/fungus/rot
had been a problem with others' experience.
I was thinking about doing a mimosa branch that is blocking my
driveway, just for the heck of it.
