I think you'll find this group not only knowledgeable, but also helpful.
You do not have to shout or threaten. Your soil is dry. Did you keep the
seeds moist? Did you wash them into crevices in the earth? If you didn't
keep the seeds moist, but just watered them once, the seeds tried to
germinate but died instead. We know your area is in a drought. Most of
the South is. You could try sprouting seeds in a potting soil inside and
set them out after they sprouted. You'd presumably have more control over
the moisture. Margaret
