Hello
Here in Texas, we're already harvesting asparagus, too. I would wait until
Fall to dig and divide the crowns. I did that last fall and I'm having a
terrific crop this Spring. However, I'm harvesting lightly so the crowns
can keep growing because I did divide them last Fall. I'm treating the crop
like a second year crop. Next year I'll harvest all I want.
