Re: Starting seedlings


I do it when they have their second set of leaves.  I try to leave as
much dirt on the roots as will cling and make a large enough hole in the
potting medium so as to not disturb the roots.  Water, mist foliage, and
let sit away from grow lights at least 24 hours to acclimate.  Then put
them back with the others under the lights.  I usually lose a few weak
ones - some transplant better than others.  I do this with most
everything I grow, even annuals.  deborah moll
