RE: when to expect what to emerge

Nancy, Here in zone 8b my Caryopteris are just breaking bud and the
Cimicifugas and Eupatorium (Joe Pye weed) are still dormant. Don't give up
on your plants yet :).

Subject:	when to expect what to emerge

To all my knowledgeable friends - I am worried by the non appearance of
three kinds of plants which are (were?) the backbone of the front garden
I put in last year. One is Cimicifuga--8 or 10 of them--which seemed to
do very poorly from the beginning. So I would be saddened but not
suprised if they didn't come back. The second is Joe Pye weed which was
sensational all year. There were about 12 of them and I see nothing
coming up yet.

And the third is a pair of Caropteris.

Am I too anxious. Is it too early? Let me know your thoughts
