Bells of Ireland

Have tried raising Bells of Ireland but haven't had much luck with them.
Anyone have advice on these. The few that do make it out side don't do well
here. Plan to start some more inside and try again this year. I'm in zone
6 Pennsylvania and I have a lot of hot sun on the mountain here. Usually
only a few germinate from a pack of seeds. Perhaps I should try sowing
outside in a cold frame. Thanks for any advice.
