Thanks for the lists, Kitty. I appreciate your input. ;-)
I purchased the GA-3 for Aquilegia flabellata pumila 'Kurilensis 'rosea'
and will try it on A. flabellata, fragrans, & olympia to see what happens.
Also will use it on Semiaquilegia ecalcarata as supplier recommended.
Forgot to order Gentiana this year.
I do have some Campanulas to try it on as well. Will also try some Platycodons,
and Baptisa minor.
I'm wondering what ill affects GA-3 would have on bulb seed if any.
I have Dodecatheon amethystinum . Eremurus himalaicus, Fritillaria
verticillata, Nectaroscordum tripedale, Scilla scilloides. Triteleia ixioides scabra
Iris dichotoma, Ornithogalum sp, Calochortus clavatus, Camassia leichtlinii
suksdorfii and Dierama. Also have Clematis pitcheri, C. fremontii, C. speciosa. that
have very slow long germination times.
Have received my primula seeds from APS so will have to try some of these
too.
Of course I will try all of these using the method suggested by the suppliers
(or the info I have gathered) and would love to hear from anyone who has
succeeded with any of the above.
Perhaps I am impatient, but why not utilize all available to us and of course
that does include Mother Nature.
Once again, thanks Kitty, for taking the time.

Lee,
In Deno's first book he mentions that the following benefitted from the use
of GA-3:
Gentiana verna, Linum capitatum, Ribes cereum, Echinocerus, pectinatus,
rosultae Violas, Evodia danielli, some Gentiana, Physoplexis parviflorum,
Ranunculus lyallii, Romneya coulteri, Rubus parviflorum, Shortia glacifolia,
most Thalictrum, Trillidium, and Trillium.
He further discusses work by others that indicated GA-3 helpfulness in
germinating the folowing:
Campanula, several Gentiana, Plantago erecta, Lewisia tweddyi, Primula
parryi, Campanula latifolia, Lunaria redeviva, Polygonum bisorta, Primula
veris, and ten species of Trollius including T. asiaticus.
Does anything listed look of interest to you?
Kitty

Hi and thanks Kitty,
but no, I do not have Deno's books. Every year I
promise myself I will buy these books, but alas another
year rolled by and here I am again with no further info.
I purchased some seeds of an Aquilegia from Gardens
North that require/would benefit from the GA-3 treatment,
and I have other aquilegia seeds that have not germinated
(from last year) maybe I could give them a try.
Anyone else out there with suggestions? Any input would be
appreciated.
I reread some of my notes from 2004 and saw that Judy Showers
had used this method on Iris ? (was it ) Any comments as to your
success Judy (if you are still here)?
TIA to all,
Ronnalee in now stormy Wiarton, Ontario.
