Re: Romneya coulteri


Bob Beers (?spelling?) an employee of the University of Washington says that you 
can get Romneya to germinate with a brief exposure to gasoline.  Like dip the the 
seeds in gas for a brief time.  I have been wanting to conduct this experiment but my 
plant doesn't produce any seed.  Thompson and Morgan lists Romneya coulteri at 
$4.89 for 25 seeds.  Why bother?
