Hopefully, someone out there can help me. I'm experimenting with growing
fruit trees at about 8,000 ft. elevation where the temperature doesn't fall
below 45 degrees F. I need to induce a dormant stage, so that the trees will
lose their leaves, and then blossom. Any ideas would be welcome. Do fruit
trees lose their leave int the fall because of a temperature drop or is it
because of the daylight to night ratio?
Thanks for any suggestions.
