I purchased 20 seeds of Lapageria rosea from T&M. They arrived in little
plastic containers with moist vermiculite. The seeds had already started
germinating!! Out of the 20 seeds I now have 18 plants. Whether I can keep
them going is another story. They have to have absolutely lime free soil and
must be watered with rainwater or distilled water. They also do not like hot
weather. I must be a glutton for punishment to be trying these here in
northern San Diego County but couldn't resist the challenge.. Joe
