If your cuttings root well, you should observe that their terminal bud will
burst and that they will show visible growth. In that case, follow your
green thumb, and maybe just keep them protected from extremes in
temperature and water stress.
If the rooting process is slow and you don't see any height growth or bud
activity, I would suggest keeping your cuttings out of direct sun, and to
mist them regularly (but not excessively, otherwise they will rot and never
produce roots). Conifers can remain green a long time before rooting or
dying off. Unless the cuttings turn red and lose their needles, don't lose
hope and cross your fingers. So far, you seem to have done everything you
can.
