Sempervivum germinates quite well. The seeds are very small, so don't cover
them. The Semp. seeds I have tried germinated in around 1 week in 18-22
C/65-72 F. I have tried Sempervivum calcareum, Sempervivum grandiflorum,
Sempervivum grandiflorum montanum and several hybrids and mixes. The
germination percent have been from 50 to 90 I think. Remember to be careful
with watering, Sempervivum prefers a very well drained media, even as seedling.
