For those who are fed up with expensive seeds not
germinating (i.e. T & M) just stop by some of the
local chain hardware stores (True Value) or some
drug stores (Revco, CVS, Rite Aid, etc) and there
may be cheap fresh annual seeds on sale. I just purchased
generic, standard varieties of many annuals for
10 cents per pack. So far, I've had 100% germination
of these cheap seeds. They are all 1997 dated and many
have orginated from Europe. So, they aren't exclusive or rare,
but they will sure be a nice addition to my garden, along with
more rare or unique plants.
