Hi,
I'm looking for the seed for climbing black eyed susans (Thunbergia) . . .
. . . G.W. Park has it in their catalog, but I've been backordered for
quite a few months. Time is running out !
I've checked Shepherds, Burpee and T&M. If anyone has other catalogs they
just keep to browse thru, maybe you can check on this and let me know.
I just love all the catalogs I get, but I know there are more.
My seedlings are popping up and looking fairly good. I have Zinnia (from
Territorial Seeds) that only 3 (almost 4) have germinated out of 20. I
also have Zinnia (Candy Cane from Burpee) that is about 14 out of 20
germinated and I'm happy to report off to a healthy and strong start.
Anybody have any experience germinating perennial lobelia. Seems to be a
stubborn one to start. I'm on my second attempt, due to damp off.
Everything looks good, but no life so far.
My Peredovik Sunflowers (Shepherds) came up in mass. My goodness, what
will I do with them all :). but my Sunset Sunflowers (burpee) only 4 out
of 18 came up.
The greenhouse is keeping me hopping this year. I have resorted to using
the clear covers on the seedling trays to help germination along. But will
take them off for the hottest part of a day. It seems to help. Does this
make sense to all of you?
Boy, is this hobby getting to be an obsession !!
I'd love to hear from anyone about what's going on in their greenhouse. It
sounds like everyone is a professional on this list. But this is great !!
