Hardy annuals, biennials and perennials

Germination Temperature: 65-70F (19-21C)
Germination time: 2-3 weeks
Sow annuals in late winter 1/8 in (3mm) deep in John Innes seed compost.
Prick out seedlings into 4-5in(10-12.5cm) posts of John Innes Potting
Compost No. 1, harden off and plant out in April. Sow perennials and
biennials in June or July, 1.4 in (6mm) deep in a cold frame or well
prepared seed bed. Thin out or transplant to 9 in (23cm) apart and
plant out 2ft (60cm apart into flowering position in autumn.
