Re: seeds-digest Digest V97 #48

I'm experimenting with cherry trees at 8,000 elevation where the temperature
doesn't fall below 45 degrees F. I need to induce dormancy so the trees will
blossom. Does anyone know whether cherry trees lose their leaves because of
change in temperature or a reduction in daylight?

Is their a chemical way to induce dormancy?

Please help with ideas. Thanks.
