propagated bougainvillea from cuttings? What is the best method?

Has anyone propagated bougainvillea from cuttings?  What is the best method?

Found best cutting were taken about 1-3 months after new leaf formed. Then
take cuttings and wrap in plastic. Cool off one day in refrigerator (not
freezer).
make sure you have sterile media. We prefer perlite. Using a plastic cup
make a hole in the bottom for drawing water. Soak media. We happen to use
rooting hormones cause we sell them ... 0.1% IBA works good for dry dip or
we have tablets to make soln using total immerse. Then stick the cuttings
in media and cover with plastic. Keep cuttings in light place during
propagation. Roots should take 2-3 weeks. But you have to be a bit lucky
cause many of the cuttings will die back.
