Marilyn, the golden Datura is probably Datura metel (Large double golden
trumpet-shaped flowers ???). My experience with this is that higher temps
will hasten germination (up to 85F). They will germinate at room
temperatures, but can take anywhere from one to four weeks or more. I'm
still getting sprouts from seed sown in late January.
