I'm not familiar with "Shamrocks" flowering.... only one I know is the one
from Ireland...
Begonias... easy to grow... place in a media that can stay moist but not
wet... give them any kind of fertilizer and they should go like crazy...
Of course, warm weather or a warm environment is esential....
