Sounds like an ideal propagating set-up. I can't think of why it wouldn't
work. You could rig a top on the tank to keep humidity high if you wanted
to root cuttings as well as start seeds. Just be sure to let air in
occasionally if rooting cuttings, watch for mildew, bugs and such. And when
starting seeds, when about a third to a half have sprouted, remove the top.
