I have used an aquarium for cuttings of woodies, perennials, etc. for years
and just leave it outside on a raised bench. I have jury-rigged a top for
it so that it won't blow off during windy periods. Works great for me.
Procured aquarium from a dumpster-diving expedition. Another favorite
pastime.
