Pardancanda from seed

Hello List:

Pam asked in V1#64 about Pardancanda from seed. Very easy! Fresh seed
germinates _very_ quickly, stored seed somewhat less so. Approx. 70degF,
planted about 1/8", or germinate on a paper towel. Grow on individually in
small containers, potting up as necessary, or planting out if they are
destined for the garden. First bloom sometimes in the second season. If
you grow them in containers until they've bloomed the first time, you can
rogue out the colors you don't like, or can plant them out with the benefit
of knowing what they'll look like with their neighbors.

If they're happy they'll self-seed all over the place, with the progeny
eventually shifting to all orange with black spots. They're easily weeded
out or transplanted.
