Propagation by seed of mediterranean trees

Last autumm, I asked for help for propagation of some mediterranean
trees in the disappeared seeds list. I have to thank Loren and Lon for
their help. Their advices have given me a lot of service trees (sorbus
domestica) ! Now I will give this and other results along with other
native trees from central Spain.

Sorbus domestica var. pomifera: Of 40 seeds, only 12 failed to
germinate, after almost 4 months of cold stratification (as the outside
weather). The germination occurs in early spring.

Fraxinus angustifolia ssp. angustifolia: Same treatment as above, good
results.

Quercus faginea ssp. faginea: It seems that there's no need of
stratification with these, like with many other quercus species. They
are sensible to over-water.

Juniperus thurifera: I think I canīt get those ones. I'm giving up, I
will keep the 2 years old seeds though, maybe in three or four years...
:( This is specially frustrating, because there's a lot of young
trees in the wild.

I have to say also that in http://www.guiaverde.com/arboles/, where
there is information of some trees that grow in Spain (both native and
exotic), it recommends scarification for sorbus domestica, wich I've
found unnecessary.

I've also crossposted this to medit-plants, as all those plants are
from a mediterranean area.
