Here in Colorado where it can staty pretty cold till June, I sprout my peas
between
damp paper towels after letting them soak an hour in tepid water. You have to be
careful tho-
if the root gets to long you won't be able to seperate them from the towel. I
plant as soon as the
root is about 1/8 in long. For me, germinating this way takes only about 3 days,
and I am assured of almost 100% germination.
